[WBA International Network Club] Request for Registration

WBA International Network ClubThe world of business is making significant progress toward globalization, accelerated by “Abenomics” (Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s economic policies), which are attracting the world’s attention, while, as a part of its growth strategy, Japan is implementing a large number of measures to assist small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in expanding their operations overseas. Government offices and public agencies are actively carrying out activity, such as giving seminars. These government offices and public agencies include the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), the Organization for Small & Medium Enterprises and Regional Innovation, and the respective SME Support Centers as well as the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of each region. The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) changed its conventional stance, and has started assisting each individual domestic enterprise in promoting the Bottom of the Economic Pyramid (BOP) business cooperation, basic feasibility study of SME oversea business, and feasibility study of SME oversea business establishment and initial business establishment trial. In this changing environment, World Business Associates (WBA) got a certified SME support organization, a national system established as a part of Japan’s industrial promotion measures. Since then, WBA has been providing SMEs with support related to “monozukuri” (product making) and business startups as well as support related to management innovation, “kaizen” (improvement), the 5S’s (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, and sustain), and total quality management (TQM). Recently, WBA has organized the WBA International Network Club. If your company is dealing in overseas business or thinking of starting overseas business or development in the future, feel free to join the club.
